Meridian Audience Data, Inc. ("Meridian," "we," "us," or "our") builds and
licenses privacy-conscious audience and advertising-performance datasets for
brands, agencies, and media platforms. This Privacy Policy describes how we
collect, use, store, share, and sell consumer audience information, and
explains the rights available to California residents under the California
Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act
("CPRA").
1. Scope and Subjects
This Policy applies to pseudonymous consumer records associated with United
States residents. Records are keyed to a non-identifying consumer identifier
and organized into audience segments. We do not knowingly process the personal
data of individuals located in the European Union, the European Economic Area,
or the United Kingdom, and the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") does
not apply to these datasets. We do not knowingly collect information from
children under the age of 16 without affirmative opt-in consent, consistent
with the CPRA.
2. Information We Collect
The categories of consumer information in these datasets include:
Pseudonymous identifiers — a non-identifying consumer ID
and identity-graph match flag
Demographic segments — age band, income band, household
size, region, and urbanicity (all provided as ranges or categories, never
exact values)
Consent and addressability signals — consent status,
addressable flag, and loyalty-membership indicator
Advertising exposure metrics — impressions by channel,
frequency, clicks, and engagement rates
Commerce and outcome metrics — transactions, spend,
conversion, and modeled attribution
Modeled scores — brand affinity, purchase propensity,
and churn-risk scores
These datasets do not contain direct identifiers such as name, email address,
postal address, or telephone number.
3. How We Use Information
To build, maintain, and license audience and measurement datasets
To support campaign planning, targeting, and performance measurement
To model propensity, affinity, and churn for analytics purposes
To verify data quality and prevent fraud and misuse
To comply with legal obligations and honor consumer privacy requests
4. Data Storage
Storage: Storage of this information is permitted. Records are
retained in secure cloud infrastructure located within the United States, with
access limited to authorized personnel and licensees.
5. Sharing of Information
Sharing: Sharing of this information with third parties is
permitted, including sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share
audience data with brands, advertising agencies, demand- and supply-side
platforms, measurement partners, and identity-resolution providers. California
residents have the right to opt out of this sharing.
6. Sale of Information
Sale: Sale of this information is permitted. Meridian licenses
and sells audience datasets to commercial customers, and tokenized data assets
derived from these datasets may be sold, licensed, or transferred on authorized
data marketplaces. California residents have the right to opt out of the sale of
their personal information.
7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
Under the CCPA and CPRA, California residents have the right to:
Know what categories of personal information are collected, used, shared, and sold
Access and obtain a copy of their personal information
Request deletion of their personal information, subject to exceptions
Request correction of inaccurate personal information
Opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information
Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information
Be free from discrimination for exercising these rights
To exercise these rights, submit a request to
privacy@meridianaudience.example
or use our "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" portal. We respond to
verifiable requests within forty-five (45) days.
8. Data Retention
We retain audience records only as long as necessary for the purposes described
above and to meet legal and contractual obligations, after which records are
deleted or further de-identified.
9. Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards,
including encryption in transit, access controls, and periodic audits.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time; the "Last Updated" date reflects
the most recent revision.
